Hi, Since 2.0.93 I have had trouble using Google-maps. I see now other people reporting this too. (http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=11901#11901)
The server goes caching or searching or something forever, it uses a lot of hard disk activity many minutes, before it usually gives up and does not show the map. Running on Ubuntu 7.04. Can it relate to Python 2.4/2.5? I really don't think that http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/install-guides/install-on-ubuntu-7.04/ tells the whole story...
