So let me understand this better, the "delay" will actually make sure the system is not pingable for 5 or 20 minutes before it triggers the alert or does it just wait 5 or 20 minutes before sending out the alert?
Triggering an alert and sending the alert are the same thing. I will wait that many seconds before doing so. The event will still be created as soon as it happens.
