Wmic is distributed with zenoss and should be located in $ZENHOME/bin -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of James Pulver Sent: Thursday, November 01, 2007 7:19 AM To: General discussion of using zenoss system Subject: [zenoss-users] Community Zenpack: WindowsWMIDeviceTemplate
I've downloaded and looked at the zenpack, and it looks cool with the script etc. But what I'm not sure is how the RAW=$(wmic ... works. wmic doesn't seem to be a command on the zenoss machine, it looks to be a windows program. Wouldn't you need to use winexe bla wmic ...? Or does it work right with an alias or something via the zenpack install? I just wanted to be sure the commands would work before trying to install a zenpack. -- James Pulver Information Technology Area Supervisor LEPP Computer Group Cornell University _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This e-mail contains confidential information and is intended only for the individual named.
