hmm, doesn't seem to be in my install. I had installed 2.0.4 and then
upgraded to 2.1... no wmic in $ZENHOME/bin. This is on EL5. The actual
path is /opt/zenoss/bin

Wmic is distributed with zenoss and should be located in $ZENHOME/bin

I've downloaded and looked at the zenpack, and it looks cool with the
script etc. But what I'm not sure is how the
RAW=$(wmic ...
works. wmic doesn't seem to be a command on the zenoss machine, it looks
to be a windows program. Wouldn't you need to use winexe bla wmic ...?
Or does it work right with an alias or something via the zenpack
install?
I just wanted to be sure the commands would work before trying to
install a zenpack.
