I am up and running! I had some daemons listening to ports that ZENOSS wanted. I had to root them out and kill them off. Specifically, snmptrapd and syslogd.
Now ZENOSS is all happy, and so am I. I've got graphs, I've got good log file action for all zen daemons, and I've got hierarchy being built in perf/Devices as I add devices.
