I've played around with this for a while, and I have no problems getting ssh
commands to work by plugging in zCommandPassword and zCommandUser to guarantee
the authentication info is available, but I would like to only have to include
the zCommandUser and not have to enter the password.

I have added the user public ssh key to the remote machine's authorized_keys
file, and have verified this all works "transparently" from the command line,
i.e., I can ssh login without the password, and I can ssh exec without the
password from the command line.

Is this supposed to be doable from within Zenoss? I've seen lots of posts and
discussions around ssh, but none (that I could find) specifically about this.
Anyone? Bueller?
