Select the interface you just added, Add a /manage to the end of the
URL. This will bring up the Zope Interface. Select the properties tab in
the upper right hand corner of the webpage. In the type field enter
ethernetCsmacd_64, select save. Go back into that device in zenoss and
push changes. (This should only be an issue if you are manually adding
interfaces)

Does that help?

Thanks Paul,

Ah, that helped on my confusion. But then i think my problem might be
elsewhere...

The device have some interfaces on Counter32 that gets discovered when i
add the device.

Now, i have 6 more interfaces that i can find with enterprise.x.x.x.x
and so on. When i add another interface under Interfaces :

Device/Server/Linux/mydevices/mydevice/os

Zenoss automatic thinks this is a Counter32 interface and bind the
ethernetCsmacd template for that interface.

If i reset binding i get an error : "You are already using the default
values."

If i try to bind and select ethernetCsmacd_64 zenoss locks up and hang.

I checked the logs if there is any error when i try to bind but nothing.
Is there some way to add the interface and tell what template to use?
