I have the same problems with my locations, and my font is plain ASCII, all caps and all my locations load fine in maps.google.com
ex: "SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA" What bothers me is that I could see SYD for a while then it dissapeared. I cleaned out the geocache, restarted zenoss to no avail, the location will not sow for that user anymore. in _my_ account, I see Sydnay, but I don't see the other Asian locations or European ones. Google Maps produces very inconsistent results.
