Combined everyone's suggestions and think that some of the issue was related to having international offices. When I made sure that every address was 'address<sp>city',<sp>'state/province',<sp>'country'<sp>'zip code'; all sites resolved to the best fit Google map. Probably a good update for the documentation, since the 2.1.1 Core release will include the googlemap patch.
