To get a working Zenoss I installed an old 2.0.6 appliance, and upgraded it using the rPath interface. After that I have what appears to be a working 2.1.0 Zenoss!

But some things do not work, I cannot add devices properly. If I discover new devices they contain no data in "OS", "Hardware" etc. And if I manually add a device I get this:

2007-11-08 17:19:38 ERROR zen.ZenModeler error opening snmpclient

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/zenoss/Products/ DataCollector/zenmodeler.py", line 210, in snmpCollect plugins) File "/home/zenoss/Products/DataCollector/SnmpClient.py", line 52, in __init__ self.proxy = self.connInfo.createSession(srcport.protocol) File "/home/zenoss/Products/ZenHub/services/PerformanceConfig.py", line 97, in createSession allowCache=allowCache) TypeError: __init__() got an unexpected keyword argument 'cmdLineArgs'

2007-11-08 17:19:38 WARNING zen.ZenModeler Unable to create a snmp client for backup

How did you do the upgrade? This error is caused by having the latest version of zenoss, but an older version of the pynetsnmp library.
