The errors are a counter so the errors need to increase for them to show up on the graph. Does netstat show they are increasing or is it a static number? If static, then you are not getting any new errors. Otherwise, the out-of-box setup for errors works fine. Note: You shouldn't have errors in this time of age unless the card is bad or the duplex doesn't match the switch.
