Ahhhh....building from source you are going to need all the dependencies. Not sure what the performance monitors use but you may need mysql to compile here. If you use rpms, you can force the install w/o mysql and then remove the .fresh or .upgr from the install directory. Configure the daemons to point to the central server and you should be set. Note: Make sure the central server is the same version as the remote. I haven't tried this yet. I just let it go through as if it was a central then reconfigure it. Since you are building from source and only the monitors, I assume you need to build a central server. Couldn't you just take the components from there, install on the remote as a tarball and then configure them as a remote?
