Hello All,

I am trying to create performance graphs for a squid server. This squid is
running its own SNMP instance as opposed to net-snmp.

I would like to be able to graph cache usage, bandwidth savings and other
things like this: http://gentoo-wiki.com/Image:Cacti_squid_1.png

I am running Zenoss Core 2.1.70

Setup:
I have successfully imported the squid MIB into zenoss with zenmib.

I have successfully added the host to zenoss and even created a separate
container for it under: /Devices/Server/linux/squid

I created a test data source with the squid OID (.1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.1) and a
test graph for it

Result:
The OS tab for this device shows nothing

The events tab shows that all the perf/snmp failed with an error of: Error
reading value for … all of the default ones including the one I created:
Error reading value for "test" on squidserver (oid .1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.1 is bad)

The Perf tab shows broken images on all the graphs except CPU Idle which says:
MISSING data file for squidserver … and the graph that I created doesn’t
work either (broken image)

I can see the squid MIBs under MIB it contains 108 nodes.

Also, I can successfully snmpwalk from the zenoss server to the squid server by
specifying the OID:
snmpwalk -v1 -c public squidserver .1.3.6.1.4.1.3495.1.1
If I do this:
snmpwalk -v1 -c public squidserver it doesn’t work. ( I get nothing)

Can someone please help me get these graphs running on Zenoss.

Thank you!
