When trying to model a device, a new HWProductKey is generated in
the Zope-database (under Manufacturer Unknown). The only problem is
that the productkey already exists under manufacturer IBM --- and
they are possible to find both places.
Moving the product to the correct manufacturer makes the device
confused, and it displays nothing in the manufacturer field.
Everything seems to display correctly if I manually set both
manufacturer and model in the edit-tab on the device. But this will
repeat itself on the next device I model (with the same product).
This has worked fine so far --- and we haven't done any changes in
between (that I'm aware of).
I haven't seen this one before. This might just be caused by some
extra trailing whitespace either on the product key that is modeled
from the device, or the one that is already in the IBM manufacturer.
If you haven't already tried deleting the product from the IBM
manufacturer and moving the one from Unknown that is being modeled to
IBM, I'd suggest doing that.
