I'm running 2.1 on the VMware Appliance. I start the zenwin daemon, I do a discover of one of my networks. After its finished, I see that zenwin has stopped. No Windows devices were discovered via WMI.
The zenwin log says only the following each time I start zenwin: 2008-01-10 14:20:20 INFO zen.zenwin: Starting zenwin 2008-01-10 14:20:21 WARNING zen.zenwin: Reconnected to ZenHub 2008-01-10 14:20:21 INFO zen.zenwin: Setting configCycleInterval to 360 my zenwin config is simply: #PARAMETER VALUE monitor localhost I want zenwin to discover my Windows devices without having to go to each machine and turn on SNMP. I thought the advantage of zenwin is that you don't need SNMP, you can discover and model with WMI. Am I wrong?
