According to the Zenoss 2.0 release notes, ZenWin is integrated into the Zenoss box so you no longer need to run it on the Windows box.
But I still can't get zenwin to start and stay running. I changed my zenwin config file to: #PARAMETER VALUE monitor <my_zen_server_ip>:8080 winurl http://<myserver>:8080/zport/dmd/Devices/Server/Windows zopeusername admin zopepassword zenoss zem http://<myserver>:8080/zport/dmd/ZenEventManager and now I get this error in the zenwin log: 2008-01-11 14:01:58 INFO zen.zenwin: Starting zenwin 2008-01-11 14:01:58 WARNING zen.zenwin: Reconnected to ZenHub 2008-01-11 14:01:58 ERROR zen.zenwin: Could not retrieve service WmiConfig 2008-01-11 14:01:58 ERROR zen.zenwin: Unable to connect to zenhub: [Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no frames): twisted.internet.defer.FirstError: FirstError(<twisted.python.failure.Failure exceptions.AttributeError>, 1)] 2008-01-11 14:01:58 INFO zen.zenwin: Starting zenwin 2008-01-11 14:01:59 INFO zen.zenwin: zenwin shutting down What's up with this?
