I asked this question once and I thought it was in the forums, but since I can't find it I guess it was in the chat room. I didn't get an answer at the time, but I am happy to say that I have the answer.
The question is: How do you change the icons used in the network map? Answer: 1. Find an icon you like and change it's size to 100x100. (make sure the icon is a PNG) 2. Copy said icon to $ZENHOME/Products/ZenWidgets/skins/zenui/img/icons 3. cd to said directory 4. chmod u=rw,g=r,o=r youriconname.png 5. zopectl restart 6. In the Zenoss web gui, browse to your device's or device class' zProperties 7. Change zIcon to your icon (i.e. /zport/dmd/img/icons/youriconname.png) Not too hard, eh? I changed the printer icon from noicon.png to printer.png which is a nice, shiny printer icon I found. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=15465#15465 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
