Hello, I am the IT guy at a small charter high school, and I'm trying to install Zenoss on a MediaTemple (dv) dedicatedVirtual server, version 3.0 (the name that MT gives it).
Basically, it's a virtual server running CentOS 4.4. It comes with MySQL client and server versions 4.1, and after staying up until 3 AM getting version 5 running, I am now encountering problems once again. Here is my official MySQL version: Code: Ver 14.12 Distrib 5.0.54, for redhat-linux-gnu (i686) using readline 5.1 Following the tutorial to install on Enterprise Linux 4 (http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/install-guides/install-on-el4/"), I downloaded the dependencies and tried to install them. It failed out, because the version of MySQL I now have installed (5.0.54) conflicts with the version it wanted to install (5.0.22). Zenoss won't install correctly with the --nodeps switch, so I am stuck. How can I make Zenoss work with 5.0.54? Or, how can I downgrade to 5.0.22? Thanks in advance for the help! I am desperate! -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=15467#15467 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
