I see that people are increasing the zStatusConnectTimeout value to prevent problem related to IP services and Ping timeouts. It may not be related to my case, but I have increased mine for the WebApp device class nonetheless. I haven't have my web applications "timed out" for almost 24 hours now. I'm been keeping my fingers crossed.
