Yep, that's basically it. One thing I noticed today is that the last device modelled between the virtual device and the active node gets both ip addresses attached to its NIC.
So if I have node1 & node2 that are in a cluster for v-ip and node2 is active, if I model node2 it's public nic gets the two ip addresses attached, it's own ip address and v-ip's ip address. Then if I model v-ip it's public nic (which is really node2's) gets the two ip addresses, and if I look at node2's public nic there are no ip addresses attached.
