I've found that on most virtual interfaces while you cannot set the speed of the interface you can define the speed. I go into the IOS and and put in a value for speed on the tunnel on device that I am monitoring.
It will be a pain as you will have to set the speed on both ends of the tunnel, but it works. I would like to see a way to change the speed on the interface level through Zenoss. I've run across a few interfaces (virtual and physical) that I cannot define the speed.
