After checking file permissions for zeoctl I saw that account zenoss hasn't rights for accessing this file what is causing this error. Seems to be normal if you have a default rpm setup on your machine.
So I rerun ./install.sh and gave zenoss access right for three further files. Now I have an new error: installing: /tmp/zenoss/2.1.72/zenoss-2.1.72/build/pyip installing: /tmp/zenoss/2.1.72/zenoss-2.1.72/build/simplejson Warning: not overwriting existing file '/opt/zenoss/etc/zeo.conf' Starting Zope Object Database Error: is not an existing path (line 41 in file:///opt/zenoss/etc/zeo.conf) For help, use /opt/zenoss/lib/python/ZEO/zeoctl.py -h unable to start Zeo object database $ /opt/zenoss/lib/python/ZEO/zeoctl.py -h /usr/bin/env: python2.3: No such file or directory What's wrong? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=17055#17055 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
