Helo, I'm going crazy trying to setup ipservices... My setup is: centos 5.1 zenoss 2.1.73 nothing else installed (server install + followed the install guide)
What I did: * configured my networks * started the discovery process and found all of my servers * removed the srvers I don't mind of * moved the servers to be monitored to the /server/linux class * re-modeled all the servers with "su zenoss -c zenmodeler run --path=/Devices/Server/Linux" I've got all the data in the OS/Interfaces, OS/File Systems, OS/Routes tabs, but almost nothing in the OS/IP Services. I've got only a couple of https (not all servers that provides https were discovered) and all the three snmp servers. All the servers are running ssh but no ssh services where discovered, even if I can successfully login to all the servers using ssh from the zenoss server. After that I've tried to manually add IP Services and lock them (delete or delete and update) to avoid them being deleted on every remodel. This was working on 2.1.2 but now they are deleted every night. I've posted about this poblem in the past but I've got no resolving answers, so I'm asking myself if this works for somebody...
