Okay, I had it sort of working and was just starting to figure out the kinks. Then I rebooted...
I have already read some similar threads on here. So I have verified that mysqld and snmpd are up. But nothing shows on http://localhost:8080. I've checked the logs in /usr/local/zenoss/log but the only ERRORs I see are complaints about snmp being down on other machines (surely ZenOSS will start under those conditions, though?). The /usr/local/zenoss/etc/zope.conf files lists: <http-server> address 8080 </http-server> which I think is correct. Trying to manually restart Zope with /usr/local/zenoss/bin/zopectl yields a complaint that zope is already running (!), and it gives me a process ID. But where is it? I don't see the usual Zope log files (event.log and Z2.log), which bothers me. So what gives? How can I troubleshoot this? -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=17610#17610 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
