i googled and searched a lot the last two days. here is what i figured out:
1. open the WMI-Ports on the firewall -> open port 135? we'll never do this... 2. only use SNMP -> not enough data for windows boxes 3. VPN' all locations -> so we need to have for each customer a different subnet. not possible. 4. SSH-Tunnels -> so zennoss must use for each location different WMI-ports. not possible. Best solution would be a client agent. From google i only found ZEP ZenAgent, which not seems to be finished yes?
