Hello all, I have a quick question about zenbatchload. I have a flat file containing stuff like device names, IP addresses, snmp community strings, etc. I can mung this flat file into whatever shape is needed to do a zenbatchload. My question is what shape is needed exactly. I found the following steps to do a batch load:
http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/howtos/loading-a-list-of-devices-from-a-file/ ...which states that the format should be thus: device0 /Path/To/DeviceClass1 device1 device2 device3 /Path/To/DeviceClass2 device4 So "device<n>" is be the IP address of the device? Does zenbatchload assume that the SNMP string is "public" or do you have to specify that in the flat file that zenbatchload takes? Thanks in advance!
