I have made sure that I don't have syslogd running on port 514 but using
netstat. But I can't get the zensyslog to work. See messages below. I also
tried refconfiguring to listen on port 1514 but cannot get it to work.
2008-04-11 14:07:12 WARNING ZEO.zrpc: (12578) CW: error connecting to
('localhost', 514): ECONNREFUSED
2008-04-11 14:07:47 WARNING ZEO.zrpc: (12610) CW: error connecting to
('localhost', 1514): ECONNREFUSED
I have spent hours on this looking at different possibilities. The other thing
is that when one stops the zensyslog process, the process is still running as
seen by ps -ef and I have to do a kill -9 to kill it.
Does someone know how to solve this?
