Can you install in /opt/zenoss/python or something Python 2.4, and set it in the path for the zenoss user?

If it is of any interest I have the same issue at the moment.

My configuration:

Dell 1950 with Dual Quad-Core 64-bit Xeon processors, 4-Gigs RAM and 73-Gig
Raid-1 storage.

Fedora 8 64-bit OS patched to current patch level.

It would be great to get Zenoss working on this system!!!

Any Ideas on "how" to setup the Zenoss package to compile properly on this
system would be greatly appreciated!!!
