Hoping someone can help me with this or point me in the right direction. I have setup a zenoss server on Centos which i have monitoring a number of Solaris servers. I recieve most of the information i want in the device pages (os/hw/etc) and i recieve snmptraps when i shutdown the hosts:
"snmp trap nsNotifyShutdown from lab280r.lab" Unfortunately i cannot figure out how to make solaris send snmptraps for things like hardware failures. I have tried installing a faulty power supply into the server and the system flags it as faulty but no trap is sent. Any help would be appreciated.
