I have added a lot of solaris 10 clients without any hassle but when i do
similar configurations on solaris 8 client and try to add it in zenoss it gets
added up but does not show any Perf graphs: the error in the event log in
Zenoss server is:
Error reading value for "memBuffer" on xxx.xxx.xxx.com (oid
.1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.4.14.0 is bad)
At the solaris 8 client end I see this error:
error while receiving a pdu from xxx.xxx.xxx.48583: The message has a wrong
version (1)
I have configured netsnmp on Solaris 8 client and the service is running: on
the solaris 8 client:
ps -eaf | grep snmp
root 13290 1 0 15:11:24 ? 0:00 /usr/lib/snmp/snmpdx -y -c
/etc/snmp/conf
I have been trying to solve this for a while so any suggestions would be welcome
