In my network we have several AIX 5.3 servers in place. I have managed to get a few servers to monitor correctly but I am having issues getting Zenoss to monitor others. The first two servers that I am monitoring worked basically out of the box and allowed me to pull most of the data, I just had to tweak a few settings in the snmpdv3.conf file.
After copying the changed file to the new servers one worked with out a hitch. The rest are broken. If I snmpwalk the hosts from the Zenoss server I can get all the information I want from them. Nothing populates at all in their Zenoss page. I expected that some things would have to be tweaked per server but not having anything? If I do the "Run Commands -> snmpwalk" I can pull the system information, but nothing else. Remodeling the device and removing/readding it brings nothing to the device information fields. Is there some trick to make several servers respond the say way?
