Hi, I'm having a related problem attempting to re-model (or add) a device.
I have just successfully installed and restarted zenoss-2.2 via rpm (Centos 5 on x86_64). The GUI is operational, and existing devices are being monitored (timestamps updating but no new device errors). The zenhub daemon is running, but I receive at ERROR from the Zenoss GUI feedback: > 2008-06-23 10:56:00 INFO zen.Utils Executing command: > /opt/zenoss/bin/zenmodeler run --now -F -d ernet.er.dtu.dk --weblog > 2008-06-23 10:56:31 ERROR zen.ZenModeler Timeout connecting to zenhub: > is it running? Here's whats happening at the process level: Code: prompt# ps -ef | grep zen | grep model zenoss 10158 1 0 10:55 ? 00:00:00 /opt/zenoss/bin/python /opt/zenoss/Products/DataCollector/zenmodeler.py --configfile /opt/zenoss/etc/zenmodeler.conf --cycle --daemon zenoss 10285 10026 0 10:56 ? 00:00:00 /opt/zenoss/bin/python /opt/zenoss/Products/DataCollector/zenmodeler.py --configfile /opt/zenoss/etc/zenmodeler.conf --now -F -d ernet.er.dtu.dk --weblog Assistance would be greatly appreciated. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=21708#21708 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
