A side by side comparison gives me the exact same information both when it 
comes in and when it clears.  i don't know if it makes a difference or not but 
i'm manipulating the threshold information to clear the violation (i.e. 
changing the upper value from 50 to 500 to clear it).  

the only specific information in the snmp trap (there are two of them that come 
in) is the actual OIDs.  it just says snmp-trap (oid goes here)

sadly i'm fairly new to this sort of thing.  i'm used to configuring the 
router, not tracking it's stuff.  seems like a world of information though if i 
can get it figured out.
