Hello All,
I'm currently working on a project for our datacenter where we're trying
to monitor our Liebert HVAC (DS 22 ton units) and our Liebert PDUs. I've loaded
the MIBS and such, but I have a few newbie questions and would appreciate your
help.
The equipment only seems to send out a couple of different snmp traps, mainly
"Event Condition added" and "Event Condition Removed." Therefore, I need to set
Zenoss up to poll the device to see what condition has changed.
Here are my questions:
Has anyone successfully monitored temps/conditions on Liebert HVAC/PDUs? Is it
possible to Zenoss do an SNMPWALK on a "higher level" OID and parse the results
for non-zero conditions and then send an email alert with the non-zero
condition in the body of the email? Thank you for your help!
