If the MIB selection is low on the PDU, you may want to look at the schematics/docs to see if it can signal status using analog methods. You can then use a monitoring device from this company:
http://www.rletech.com/index.php?id=products And then run the analogs into it and configure it to send out the alerts. This is how we are aggregating alarms from the Liebert UPS' and other Data Center equipment and then sending traps to Zenoss. Some statuses that I can get directly from the devices I do let Zenoss Trapd handle it but for the rest I use the Falcon as my broker.
