Yes, so with traps, just point it at Zenoss (make Zenoss the trap
target/reciever on the Cisco) after you have added the device, and
you'll get an Event in Zenoss. You probably will want to search the
forum and read the admin guide for adding MIBs to decode the trap so you
don't have OID 0.2.3.4.32.2.34.4 (made up) was sent...
You can then map these events as desired in Zenoss for criticality, and
then create alerting rules or event commands as desired.
The Zenoss Book is also pretty good for an overview for new users,
though I got where I am using the forums, IRC and the admin guide.
