Hello,

I have searched in the documentation and can't find how to change the community string for incoming SNMP traps.

AFAIK, there's no way to do that right now.

See e.g. http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/ticket/2565

I have traps coming in that fail to authenticate.

Oh!

They work with the community of "public" but I would like to change that.

Weird, I was just doing the same yesterday and discovered that ZenTrap accepts *all* community strings; I got my traps in whether I used "public" or "FooBarBaz"...

I'd really like to have a possibility to restrict that to a custom community - or better yet, use SNMPv3 for all that.

Cheers,
Erik
