Jason - thank you for your informative post. I know that this is a few months old - but it still took the better part of an hour of searching to find a solution that, seemingly, should be simple. Or, better yet, included in the documentation - or at the very least stickied in the forums.
I think it would stand to reason that anyone installing the standalone RPM will have a pre-existing MySQL install, and will likely not have been foolish enough to leave a blank root password. In any event, thank you again - I would likely have just given up otherwise. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=23544#23544 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
