Hi,

I'm about to embark on the journey of installing this on FreeBSD 7. The first
step according to the doc
http://dev.zenoss.org/trac/browser/branches/zenoss-2.2.x/inst/docs/INSTALL_FreeBSD62.txt
is to "configure dhcp networking" via sysinstall...

5 1. Login as root, run sysinstall, configure dhcp networking
6
7 # sysinstall

I don't see this requirement for any other OS. Why does this need to be done on
FreeBSD? Additionally, the instructions are not clear about what exactly should
be configuered here... Do I need to set up a DHCP server? Do I need to
configure the interface of the server to be a DHCP client?

Can someone provide me with some insight into this requirement please?

Thanks,
Oliver
