Yep ... I'am looking for similar things .
I use Zenoss for few days and it seem to be a very powerfull engine (in regards of what i've done in these few days). I plan to map my differents devices via googlemaps BUT i'am in a very special case . The locations couldnt be directly handled via google adresse's as there are all resumed by one ... I dont know if i'am very clear, sorry... So, i've tried to use direct coord instead of adresses, it's seem to be ok . But, in similar way than you i will prefer a map instead of a basic plan as it doesn't show all the details i want to correctly show all the parts of the hospital.
