I tried with different values but still the devices are not showing up. Here are the values I set up [ collectors -> localhost ] :
Ping Time Out (secs): 5 Ping Tries: 10 Hope you guys will help me to solve this problem. I also tried tcpdump on both zenoss server and server to be monitored. -> The monitoring server is sending ICMP request packet only twice even I change value as mentioned above. -> The server to be monitored receives the ICMP reqest packet and also sends the ICMP echo reply packet to the zenoss server. But the zenoss server is not receiving this packet ( may be lost in middle). I don't know what the problem is? My firewall rules are set up properly.
