Has anyone come up with a good solution to monitoring multiple websites running on a single webserver on an already monitored device?
Basically the situation is that I have a bunch of webservers that are already setup as monitored devices and now I have installed and configured the httpmonitor zenpack on a zenoss core box. Httpmonitoring is working just fine...the issue is that we have as many as 30-40 sites running on a single webserver using host headers/virtual hosting. From my reading about the httpmonitor zenpack I would need to create individual templates for each site running on a particular monitored server in order to monitor the sites individually. Firstly, am I correct in my understanding of how setup works? Secondly, if I am correct, has anyone come up with a good solution for monitoring a setup as described above?
