We too are Enterprise customers and interested in this ability.  

More generally it would be very nice to be able to put components into
general organizers (Like systems and groups).  A use for such organizers
would be aggregation/edge routers which have interfaces or
sub-interfaces that are client specific.  Another example is in
datacenter switches, where one port may be critical to a specific
service.

You might be interested in using the Graph Portlets ZenPack and  
putting your graphs into that, then restricting users to the  
dashboard?  For the individual devices, the ACLs will restrict them  
from editing, but if you really need more fine-grained control contact  
Client Services.  Enhancement requests will get prioritized the more  
customers ask for them.
