Hmm, then you probably can get SSL working - you need to see if your
IIRC python has SSL extensions? I'm munging the terms, but again,
searching the forums would find better info.

No, we didn't use the stack installer, but we installed the RPM package for
32-bit RHEL/CentOS 5 on CentOS 5.2 32-bit.
