Greetings, I am attempting to monitor a few Windows Server 2008 machines with WMI and I am getting "Wmi communication failure" events in Zenoss.
Running wmic yields this: #wmic -U 'AD/wmiuser%password' //srv2008 "Select * from Win32_ComputerSystem" ERROR: WMI query execute. NTSTATUS: NT code 0xc002001b - NT code 0xc002001b According to http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=22872, this problem was fixed in 2.2.4. However, I am running the 2.2.4 stack on Ubuntu Hardy and the problem still exists. Versions below: Zenoss Zenoss 2.2.4 OS Linux (x86_64) 2.6.24 (Linux zenoss 2.6.24-16-server #1 SMP Thu Apr 10 13:15:38 UTC 2008 x86_64) Zope Zope 2.8.8 Python Python 2.4.4 Database MySQL 0.0.0 (Ver 0) RRD RRDtool 1.2.26 Twisted Twisted 2.5.0 NetSnmp NetSnmp 5.4.1 PyNetSnmp PyNetSnmp 0.28.6 WMI Wmi 0.1.12 What else can I look at to fix this? -- Randy Smith http://www.vuser.org/
