Mr. Pulver, Thank you for a quick and helpful response. I just used the ip addresses as device names, turned off discovery from auto to none and added the nodes under the ping sub-device. Next, I rebooted a couple of the nodes and Zenoss successfully reported them down and back up when reboot was completed.
I have alot to learn, but now I have a place to start!
