Just to make sure I am NOT going daft, I downloaded 2.2.3 again and installed that on a fresh VM, same as I did with 2.2.4, and now everything is working as expected, so far at least.
Devices get discovered and listed. SNMP and WMI data gets collected and processed properly. Well, not entrirely, I am still stuck with 2 out of 4 devices not showing up in the network map, even though they are all 4 in the same segment and Zenoss reports there network settings correctly.
