I discovered this a few months ago, but wasn't sure if it was a product of the 
VHM rewriting the URL.  I solved it by upping the logging threshold to "level 
ERROR" in zope.conf.  I don't get nearly the amount of logging, sure, but it 
solved my problem for the time-being.  I figured if I was doing anything where 
I needed that level of logging I could always reset the logging level.

Anyway, that might be a quick fix until an "official fix" comes out.
