I think you could probably edit the alert e-mails or use event transforms to remove the info you want gone. I'm just not sure how you could do it generically unless you just don't pass the summary/details. I will say in 2.2.4 I'm seeing less of this on the web interface.

In this case, my error is clearly originating with a test from the 
"WindowsWMIDeviceTemplateV2" ZenPack, but as your ticket acknowledges, any 
command line test that includes a userid and password will have the same problem if it 
throws an event.

Since I have less-privileged admins that have to look at event logs and receive 
alerts but don't have all the sensitive passwords, this creates a potential 
problem for me.

I will have to rethink how I have the WMI polling set up.
