How nifty of them to slough it off as a "community ZenPack problem."
But presumably the ZenPack is using core features to raise the event and send the email. In this case, my error is clearly originating with a test from the "WindowsWMIDeviceTemplateV2" ZenPack, but as your ticket acknowledges, any command line test that includes a userid and password will have the same problem if it throws an event. Since I have less-privileged admins that have to look at event logs and receive alerts but don't have all the sensitive passwords, this creates a potential problem for me. I will have to rethink how I have the WMI polling set up. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://forums.zenoss.com/viewtopic.php?p=26289#26289 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
